It is not uncommon for hubbers to visit the Learning Center and forums to seek out assistance, tutorials and resources. The most common inquiries include, but aren't limited to; SEO, generating traffic, writing and design. Yahoo! Answers - Seek, and Ye Shall Find Traffic! Yahoo! Answers is a great way to improve traffic. Building an account is free and easy.
Referral Trackers - The first step you should take is to prepare your referral trackers. As you begin to promote your hub and those of your fellow hubbers you will want to include a tracker. Why? Three reasons...
- If someone signs up for HubPages through one of your referral trackers (within 30 days) you will earn 10% of their impressions - for the life of the account.
- If you promote your friends and followers on HubPages with a referral tracker you will earn 9 - 12% of the impressions that you generated. The original author DOES NOT LOSE OUT on that impression. They still earn on the traffic and so do you! It is a HubPages incentive.
- Think of all the hubs you share and promote on your various social networks that you might be missing out on. Share, Promote, Track, Earn!
Traffic - Grab that traffic provides a variety of very useful tips for generating traffic to your hubs.
Yahoo! - Yahoo! Answers is a fun and helpful way of generating traffic.. Simply start an account and answer questions related to your hub topics. You can add links as a reference. Read the hub to the right for more information and suggestions.

I am a big fan of H. C Porter and ktrapp. Whenever I need to refresh my memory on SEO I look up one of the SEO hubs listed to the right. These hubs and hubbers are a wealth of information and I am honored to feature them here. These two are excellent writers too. Be sure to visit their profiles and see their respective writing talents beyond the SEO topic.
SEO - What is SEO? SEO is search engine optimization. The main point is that your hub titles, headers and text become visible to the various search engines.
Back-Links - Aside from visibility you will want to consider back-links. What are back-links? Back-links are links around the web that direct traffic directly to your hubs and profiles. This is also an important aspect of SEO.
Keywords - Using the correct assortment of keywords in your text is important in SEO. ktrapp's keyword hub offers proven suggestions for accurate placement and usage of keywords in your hubs.
Headers and Tags - Once you establish SEO in your title, headers and opening text you will need to be sure to apply effective and supportive tags. Tags will help categorize your hubs based on the various tags and keywords you list and cover in your hubs.

Online Research Writing - Tips and Tricks is a lengthy, but very useful hub. This particular hub won Hub of the Day and is filled with a variety of resources, suggestions and helpful links. This hub also offers search engine options for clinical and academic research as well as sites to determine potential plagiarism.
Examples for Describing Setting is a great choice if you are seeking to improve your descriptive writing and promote imagery for your readers.
Creative Writing is a hub which will guide you through the basic process of preparing creative text. It discusses pre-writing skills, development of ideas, characterization and more.

missolive--I was just looking at this hub again. Again, I appreciate your featuring two of my hubs. But the other thing that struck me is how amazing this hub is--it made me think of the term "one-stop shopping." So much new hubbers need is found right here in this hub. And not-so-new hubbers as well. I still haven't made my way through all the information. was wondering if you or anyone could help me. i have a blog going with adsense on it but when i view i dont see the little blue link ads but i do see other ads are those adsense and do i get paid for those

On your question. What blog site is it and did you provide your google adsense info to the blog site? Blogger does have adsense. Perhaps you can provide a link on your HubPages profile for your fans to visit. I would assume that any ad links are adsense related.
i have thank you and answering me so quickly has helped me again. i am getting frustrated. the link is allaboutmwcarriedrobnick.blogspot.com. and i looked oveer it again and i think those are the ads i am just so confused b ut i will get it soon.

Carrie - You will do fine. Simply pace yourself. Everything will seem overwhelming in the beginning. At least it did for me. There are several hubs out there that cover Hubpages tutorials and advice. The Learning Center is a wonderful place to learn the ropes. You can find the learning center by clicking your username on the top toolbar. This will create a drop down list - click learning center. You will find quite a bit of info there.
Another choice would be to click the EPLORE icon on the top toolbar and check out the forums. There is a topic on HubPages Community filled with valuable discussion threads.
